Creation V Evolution

This section will explore the many myths in the Pagan ethos. We'll start with a brief discussion of Creationisim V Evolution:

Oh the problems this argument has caused!

Creationism is the idea that 'God' created everything. It also generally implies that 'God' has a plan for everything.

Evolution is the idea that things evolve into other things and that stuff has always been.

Thus the Chicken and the Egg is solved:

If you believe in creationism the egg came first, having been created by 'God'.

If you believe in evolution the chicken came first having been evolved from something else.

Both ideas have problems. The big bang happened and stuff flew all over and evolved into everything. But where did the stuff of the big bang come from? Creationism has problems based on your paradigm of this 'God' fellow.

(Begin reading in Ex Officio voice) In the beginning there was nothing no-thing nothing. 0. [Nothing qualifies under most definitions of 'God'. Nothing is everywhere. Being everywhere it is all-knowing. Atheists, even, believe in nothing...]

Nothing divided. Polarity came into existence; masculine and feminine. (I like to think of this as a giant explosion id est Big Bang)

The Chaos caused by the division began to self-organize. From Chaos comes order. Chaos and Order begin their dance and things 'evolve'. I was once a child, adolescent, adult. Now I am beyond definition. A giraffe with a short neck does not reach the leaves up high and so dies and removes short-necks from the gene pool.

Thus Creationism and Evolution are not exclusive ideas and the argument should end.

Paxus.
